PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a crystal form of modification 1 of N-(4-trifluoromethylphenyl)-5-methylisoxazol-4-carboxamide. SOLUTION: The crystal form of modification 1 is obtained by bringing the crystal form of modification 2 of a compound expressed by formula (I) or a crystal mixture of the crystal form of modification 1 and that of modification 2 to be crystallized by (a) heating in a solid state, (b) preparing as a suspension, subsequently heating the same or (c) dissolving in an organic solvent such as isopropanol or in a mixture of the organic solvent and water, subsequently heating the same.
