PURPOSE: A shading apparatus for cultivating insam (ginseng) is provided to supply water naturally to insam by the falling of rainfall between shading plates in case of rain. CONSTITUTION: A shading apparatus for cultivating insam comprises a plurality of shading plates(21,22,23) which are provided with a solar cell plate(S) producing the electrical energy by receiving the sunlight; and a support(30) which supports the shading plates so as to be separated from the ground. At least one of the plurality of shading plates is connected with the neighbouring shading plate in the separated state so as to allow water to be fallen between the shading plates.
