PURPOSE: A method for mediating a transaction of a knowledge information on the Internet is provided to prevent an outflow of a knowledge information by dividing a knowledge information or a knowledge information supplying server of a seller storing position information thereof into a transaction mediating server storing summary information(catalogue) of a product and supplying the information to a client. CONSTITUTION: A client connects to a mediating server and performs a member certifying process(S51,S52). After searching a registered catalogue and selecting a knowledge information to be bought(S53), the client performs a user certification and a cost payment through a certification institution and/or a payment agency institution(S54). The mediating server transmits purchase information including buyer information, certification information, and cost payment information to the corresponding seller server with an inherent code of a bought(S55). An Internet connection is formed between a seller server and a client system by a session formation or a socket formation. The seller server searches a DB and extracts position information of a knowledge information corresponded to the received inherent code(S56), and takes a from an external DB server storing the corresponding knowledge information based on position information thereof and transmits the to a computer system of a buyer(S57,S58).
