Disclosed is a method of connecting a flexible tube for powder transfer between a discharge tube and an receiving tube. The flexible tube ends are deformed inwardly so as to resiliently spring back to connect with adjacent tube ends. At least one connection is other than a flanked rib type connection. Such a connection is not shown in the drawings.
