摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an overcurrent flow from an external power source to a vehicle when charging an electricity storage unit from the external power source, in a hybrid vehicle having an electrical heating catalyst device on an exhaust path of a combustion engine and being for charging the mounted electricity storage unit from an external power source. <P>SOLUTION: In a charging mode (YES in S10), power is fed from the electricity storage unit to an EHC before the external power source starts charging the electricity storage unit (S20), and the electric resistance of the EHC is identified (S30). Based on the identification result, if the EHC is decided to be normal (NO in S40), charging the capacitor unit from the external power source is started (S50), so that the power is fed from the external power source to the EHC (S60).
