PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of copying a document, even if the document has confidentiality, only by causing a third person to perform read operation and then by instructing copying from a user. SOLUTION: In an image forming apparatus having an image read part that reads a document arranged by an operator and generates image data, and an image analysis part that analyzes the presence/absence of confidentiality of the generated image data, there are provided a storage part that stores personal identification information of a user allowed to acquire confidential image data, and an image data acquisition control part that determines whether or not personal identification information that is input coincides with the personal identification information in the storage part when the personal identification information is input by the operator along with identification information, and acquires the image data to which the identification information is attached from the image storage means, and causes an output processing part to output the image data.
