PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydro-forming device capable of enlarging an overhang height of a branch without using a counter, and capable of forming a pipe having a large curvature of a branch root part and a complicated shape in the branch part. SOLUTION: The hydroforming device includes a movable mold divided into two parts in an axial direction of the pipe and having layers stacked in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the pipe, a fixed mold retaining the movable mold from the outside, an inner pressure-donating means donating the inner pressure by supplying liquid into the metal pipe, and an axially pushing punch movable in the axial direction of the pipe. The metal pipe is attached to the movable mold with all the movable mold layers advanced, and the movable mold is fastened by the fixed mold. The first layer to the outermost layer of the movable mold are orderly retreated while push force in the axial direction of the pipe is given to the metal pipe by using the axially pushing punch thereby to expand the pipe so as to make the branch part. The first layer of the movable mold is the one near to the metal pipe, and the outermost layer is the furthest one from metal pipe. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
