摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a light styrenic resin extrusion-foamed article which uses environmentally compatible water and carbon dioxide as main foaming agents, and has a strength, thermal insulation property and flame retardancy suitable for the uses of building materials and industrial materials. SOLUTION: Provided is the method for producing the styrenic resin extrusion-foamed article, characterized by using at least one selected from the group consisting of water and carbon dioxide as main foaming agents, controlling the retention time of the foaming agent in an extruder to≥800 sec, and controlling the pressure in the extruder to≥5 MPa. Thereby, the styrenic resin extrusion-foamed article having a foam density of 20 to 100 kg/m<SP>3</SP>and a foam article thickness of 5 to 100 mm can stably be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
