PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a microcapsule for an electrophoretic display which prevents blockage even if a micro flow path is used, stably emulsifies a dispersion liquid containing electrophoretic particles and a solvent in a uniform droplet diameter for a long time period, and manufactures the microcapsule for the electrophoretic display in a uniform particle size and at high productivity. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the microcapsule for the electrophoretic display, the micro flow path is used, a minute particle having a particle size smaller than the electrophoretic particle is added to the dispersion liquid when the microcapsule for the electrophoretic display in which the dispersion liquid is included in the shell is manufactured by forming a shell on a surface of the droplet after the droplet of the dispersion liquid containing electrophoretic particles and the solvent is formed in an aquatic medium.
