<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for executing JOB in the state that sequential sheets such as sheets of tab paper or printed paper are set in a plurality of trays while avoiding the collective use of the specified paper feed tray during executing the JOB to set each of a paper size, a paper type and the tray to be used on a page to page basis. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises the plurality of paper feed trays, and a control part having an automatic tray switching (ATS) function for executing and managing the JOB. The control part can set each of a paper size, a paper type and the tray to be used on a page to page basis of the JOB. After the ATS switches the paper feed tray where paper runs out into the other paper feed tray during executing the JOB, when paper is resupplied into the paper feed tray where paper runs out, the switched paper feed tray is continuously used instead of the paper feed tray into which the paper is resupplied, if set as the paper feed tray on a page to page basis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
