<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head capable of increasing the design freedom of weight distribution. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club head 1 has a hollow structure comprising a face member 1A having a face 2 for hitting a ball, and a head body 1B having an opening O to which the face member 1A can be fixed on the front side. The face member 1A is made of a first titanium alloy, and the head body 1B is formed of a second titanium alloy of a composition different from that of the first titanium alloy.
