<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the throughput of data communication using multi-value modulation. <P>SOLUTION: During retransmission, a switch 604 is switched and transmit data stored in a buffer 603 in initial transmission have their bit array converted by a bit array conversion unit 606, and are then input to a multi-value modulation unit 605. Namely, the array order of the bit array in one symbol is made reverse to that in the initial transmission. The bit-array-converted symbol is subjected to multi-value modulation by a multi-value modulation unit 605 using 16QAM. The modulated symbol is multiplexed by a multiplexer 608 with a transmission frequency notice signal indicating the second transmission, and then transmitted through an antenna 613. Thus, when the retransmission is performed, bit positions where data are allocated in one symbol are changed from those in the initial transmission and the symbol is transmitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
