PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge device wherein a nozzle face can keep a wet state with a liquid overflowing from a nozzle of a liquid droplet discharge head. SOLUTION: The liquid droplet discharge device changes the height of a supply tank 21A to the position so that a distance A between a nozzle face 22Y of an ink-jet recording head 20Y and a liquid surface in a recovery tank 21B can become the same as a distance B between the nozzle face 22Y of the ink-jet recording head 20Y and a liquid surface in the supply tank 21A. Thereby, a difference between a supply pressure applied to the ink-jet recording head 20Y from the first supply route 61 and a recovery pressure applied to the first recovery route 81 from the ink-jet recording head 20Y is reduced, and an amount of ink supplied to the ink-jet recording head 20Y from the first supply route 61 becomes the same as an amount of ink recovered from the ink-jet recording head 20Y to the first recovery route 81.
