<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an M-commerce virtual cash system which expands m-commerce applications using card technologies and infrastructures, and more specifically, expands m-commerce technologies to handle or replace cash and card transactions. <P>SOLUTION: A virtual cash system 10 has an account record containing a record of money amounts associated with a wireless device 12 and a transmitter 45 for wirelessly transmitting to the wireless device 12 predetermined information from the account record.
