PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent particulate dispersion which improves mechanical strength and refractive index and suppresses discoloration in combination with a resin by suppressing an amount of impurities in a dispersion medium, and which maintains significantly high transparency, and to provide a transparent resin composition containing a particulate, a transparent resin containing a particulate, and an optical member. SOLUTION: The transparent particulate dispersion is a transparent particulate dispersion obtained by dispersing in a dispersion medium a transparent particulate with an average particle size of 1 nm-100 nm.
