<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ozone compressor which comprises two water ring compressors connected in parallel, compresses ozone gas supplied from an ozone source, supplies the compressed ozone gas to the load side, has an improved pressure controllability, allows an easier control of pH of the running water in the water ring compressors. Ž<P>SOLUTION: At the beginning of the start up, a first opening-control valve 22 is feedback-controlled based on the signals from a first pressure sensor 25 and a second opening-control valve 33 is feedback-controlled based on the signals from a second pressure sensor 35. When the difference in the opening between the two opening-control valves 22 and 33 exceeds 10%, the opening of the second opening-control valve 33 is forcibly brought closer to that of the first opening-control valve 22. Subsequently the signals entered from the pressure sensors to the second controller is switched from the signals based on the second pressure sensor 35 to the signals based on the first pressure sensor 25.
