摘要 <p>Disclosed is a light adjusting particle manufacturing method that can be used for a light adjusting material containing a resin matrix, which is made from a polymeric medium that is cured by irradiating with an energy beam, and a light adjusting suspension, which has a dispersion medium and light adjusting particles dispersed in a state to be capable of flow in said dispersion medium. In a step of mixing and pelletizing (A) elemental molecular iodine, (B) an alkaline earth metal iodide, and (C) a heterocyclic compound in a catalyst, reaction is carried out in the presence of methanol in an amount of 50 to 110 parts by weight, to 100 parts by weight of the total amount of said (A), (B), and (C). In this way, it is possible to provide a light adjusting particle manufacturing method that has good reproducibility and with which the effects of moisture are reduced in the pelletizing step of the light adjusting particle manufacturing method, in order to efficiently obtain light adjusting particles having optimal particle size and shape.</p>
