<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve backup circuit disconnection for easily achieving memory exchange by removing any complicatedness due to a connector operation, and suppressing the increase in costs due to an additional circuit without making it necessary to perform any start or restoration operation even while the power source of the device is OFF or the device is under a power saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: This memory data holding system includes a semiconductor switch for disconnecting a power supply path from a secondary battery to a holding power source circuit for holding storage data to a volatile memory even when a main power source is OFF and a holding power source disconnection switch for artificially turning off the semiconductor switch. Furthermore, the holding power source circuit includes the output enable of a secondary battery side DCDC converter based on a main power source ON signal in order to start a backup operation with a power to be supplied from the secondary battery according to transition from the main power source ON to OFF. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
