<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded article take-out device including a lift capable of making power consumption of a motor lock zero by a simple structure to keep a stop state by causing a counterweight which dispenses with a balance cylinder and also dispenses with troublesome secondary pressure adjustment of a pressure-reducing valve and attachment of a complex-structured secondary pressure adjusting device to work on a load weight. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The lift 20 provided on the molded article take-out device moves up/down an elevating part 22 by an elevating mechanism 21 and a workpiece holding head 23 simultaneously with the elevating part 22. A lift mechanism 20 comprises a linear motor in a vertical posture, and an elevating part 23 is mounted on its moving element (movable part) 26. The counterweight 24 with a weight balancing with a total weight including a weight of the movable part 26, a weight of the elevating part 22 and a weight of the workpiece holding head 23 is loaded to the movable part 26.
