PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning structure of a mold which enables the mold to be positioned to a regular attachment posture with the mold unrotatably centered to a fixed surface of an injection molding machine. SOLUTION: The positioning structure 20 of the mold has a locating ring engagement hole 21 mounted in the central part of a fixed surface-forming member 11 forming a fixed surface 11a to which the mold M of the injection molding machine 1 is fixed, and a locating ring 31 formed on the back side of the mold M1 and engaging with locating ring engagement hole 21. rotation restricting parts 24a and 25a restricting the rotation of the locating ring 31 are mounted in the inner circumferential part of the locating ring engagement hole 21, and contact parts 31a and 31b engaging with the rotation restricting parts 24a and 25a are mounted in the outer circumferential part of the locating ring 31. The locating ring 31 is engaged with the locating ring engagement hole 21, and the contact part of the locating ring is contacted with the rotation restricting parts 24a and 25a.
