MULTI-POINT RESERVOIR MODELLING

摘要

The present invention proposed an improvement in the methods used for modelling underground structures, in particular underground reservoirs, with multiple point statistical modelling. The improvement involves the storage of the statistics in a training image in a list structure, rather than in a tree structure. In this way a considerable memory saving is achieved. The system of the invention is then able to manage much larger models and extended search templates, thus to describe complex 3D models.
