<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper device having predetermined damper effects depending on the moving speed of a piston. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The damper device 1 comprises: the piston 5 which is movable in a cylinder 3 filled with silicone oil between a pressure chamber 11 and a non-pressure chamber 13, and has a flow path 37 for communicating the pressure chamber 11 with the non-pressure chamber 13; and a control valve 39 for reducing the area of the flow path 37 depending on the moving speed of the piston 5 toward the pressure chamber 11. Herein, there are provided a relief path 43 formed passing through the piston 5 to communicate the pressure chamber 11 with the non-pressure chamber 13, and a relief valve 53 capable of opening/closing the relief path 43.
