The sensor (100) also comprises an analyzing logic unit (104) that is coupled to the camera sensor (102) and designed to emit, when a mark (502) on that portion (106) of the surface of the material (402) that is scanned is detected by the camera sensor (102), a signal (108) for the detection of a mark on or in the material, which signal (108) corresponds to a position of the mark (502) on or in the material (402), the analyzing logic circuit (104) also being designed to use logic elements set to perform fixed logic operations to determine the signal (108) for the detection of a mark.
