PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retreaded tire capable of constantly setting the tread radius to be an adequate value even when the radii of tread affixing surfaces of a base tire are different from each other, and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: When the radius R1 of the tread affixing surface of a base tire 10 is small, the tread radius R2 after affixing a tread 20 can be constantly set to be an adequate value by using a cushion rubber 30 formed so that the thickness is gradually increased from the center side of the tire width direction to both end sides of the tire width direction, and any partial wear and heat generation of a shoulder part 13 can be effectively suppressed.
