<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming method of a repairing boss and a repairing method of a poorly thermally caulked part by employing the formed repairing boss. <P>SOLUTION: As the forming method of the repairing boss, a pellet, which has a proper volume and is made of a laser beam transmittable transparent thermoplastic resin, is seated on a molded product so as to be fitted to the fitting hole of a boss to be bonded in order to guide a laser beam through the pellet to the surface of the molded product under the condition that the pellet is being pressed against the surface of the molded product by being applied with proper load, results in absorbing the laser beam so as to generate heat at the surface. Through the melting and bonding together of the contact surfaces between the molded product and the pellet due to this generation of heat, the pellet is bonded to the molded product, resulting in forming the repairing boss. After that, by executing thermal re-caulking from above the repairing boss, the poorly thermally caulked part is repaired. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
