<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifying device for elongating a service life of a permeable film by preventing uneven precipitation of evaporation residue to the permeable film, in the humidifying device using the permeable film. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This humidifying device 30 includes a humidification air trunk 10c through which the air passes, a humidifying section 36 comprising the permeable film through which the steam permeates, disposed in the humidification air trunk, and humidifying the air passing on one face of the permeable film by the steam by bringing the other face of the permeable film into contact with the water, and wind direction inverting sections 10a, 10b for inverting the flowing direction of the air passing on the face of the permeable film, to the direction from one side sandwiching the humidifying section 36 to the other side sandwiching the humidifying section 36, and the direction from the other side sandwiching the humidifying section 36 to one side sandwiching the humidifying section 36.
