PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus smoothly computing the correspondence between a standard image and a reference image. SOLUTION: The apparatus inputs a standard image and a reference image, which are taken by two cameras provided on the right and left. The pixels of the two images are associated with each other, and after association data are calculated, the reliabilities of the association data are determined (S106). For the data with the lower reliability, interpolation data is calculated from association data of peripheral pixels (S107), and the interpolation data is evaluated (S108).
