<p>PURPOSE: A method, a transmitter and a receiver for selecting a transmission channel through transmission antennas in a wideband high frequency wireless system are provided to select an antenna which provides the highest transmission rate, thereby maximally keeping a data transmission rate between a transmitter and a receiver. CONSTITUTION: A receiver receives the first channel detection response message(S820). The first channel detection response message includes state information of the first channel by the first antenna. A transmitter transmits a channel detection request message to a receiver through the second antenna(S830). The channel detection request message requests state information of a channel made by the second antenna. The receiver receives the second channel detection response message(S840). A transmission rate calculating unit calculates a data transmission rate through the first and second channels(S850). The transmitter transmits data through the antenna(S860). The antenna is selected based on the calculated data transmission rate.</p> |
