PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orbital displacement suppressing structure easily buildable on existing structures at low cost. SOLUTION: This orbital displacement suppressing structure 1 comprises a bank 5 formed on a ground 3. A box culvert 11 as a concrete structure is so installed on the ground 3 as to come into contact with the bank 5. A soil roadbed 7 is formed on the bank 5 and the box culvert 11. A ballast 10 is placed on the soil roadbed 7. Sleeper 13 are installed on the ballast 10, and rails 15 are installed on the sleepers 13. Suppressing members 9 are installed near the boundary between the soil roadbed 7 and the box culvert 11. The suppressing members 9 are formed of a material larger in rigidity than the bank 5. Therefore, an abrupt change in rigidity does not occur near the boundary between the bank 5 and the box culvert 11.
