PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition timing control device of an engine enabling mounting of the engine furnished with designed planned performance by eliminating individual differences the manufactured engines respectively have and for eliminating unbalance of IMEP (average effective pressure shown in the drawing) of each cylinder by reducing a performance difference between each of the cylinders of the engines. SOLUTION: A control means is furnished with an engine revolution fluctuation detection means to detect revolution fluctuation of the engine, an ignition timing correction means furnished with at least a plurality of changing patterns gradually changing ignition timing of each of the cylinders from initial ignition timing during operation of the engine against the previously set initial ignition timing, and a fundamental ignition timing setting means to set the changing pattern of the ignition timing smallest in revolution fluctuation in the practiced changing patterns of the ignition timing as a fundamental ignition timing by detecting the revolution fluctuation of the engine by the engine revolution fluctuation detection means for each of the changing patterns practiced by the ignition timing correction means on a vehicle manufacturing line.
