<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a glycogen-containing composition by efficiently and easily concentrating glycogen from edible yeast. <P>SOLUTION: This method for preparing the glycogen-containing composition by concentrating glycogen from edible yeast includes (a) a process of subjecting edible yeast to enzyme treatment with basidiomycete producing enzyme, (b) a process of microfiltrating an enzyme treated liquid produced in the (a) process followed by collecting filtration residue, and (c) a process of subjecting the filtration residue to centrifugal filtration followed by collecting glycogen-containing supernatant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
