<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device which delivers a bundle of sheets to a downstream stack tray after the bundle is filed, and which does not cause an accident due to foreign matter from the outside in processing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This device includes bundle delivery means (100) arranged on a processing tray, and delivery control means. A guide groove (29G) guiding the bundle delivery means in a sheet delivering direction is formed on a sheet supporting face (29a) of the processing tray, and the bundle delivery means includes a carrier member (110) housed in the guide groove movably in a sheet bundle delivery direction, a sheet engaging member (105) mounted to the carrier member and engaged with the bundle of the sheets on the processing tray, carrier drive means (114) moving the carrier member along the guide groove in the sheet bundle delivery direction, and engaging member drive means (127) changing its posture between a standby posture, at which the sheet engaging member is fitted in the guide groove, and an actuation posture, in which the member projects upward on the sheet supporting face from the guide groove.
