PURPOSE: A passenger air bag cushion for a vehicle with a tether holder is provided to expand the tether successively by reducing the resistance of a side not contacted with the tether holder. CONSTITUTION: A passenger air bag cushion(20) for a vehicle comprises a tether(30) and a tether holder(40). The tether is wound in an inflator built-in a passenger seat dashboard of the vehicle. The tether controls the air bag cushion. The air bag cushion is expanded by the gas generated from the inflator. The tether is connected to the both ends of the inner surface of the air bag cushion. The tether holder makes the tether fold to an opposite direction of an expansion direction of the tether with the inflator. The tether holder confines the tether in an inside.
