ALTERNATIVE MEANS FOR CONDUCTOR BASED SHORT DISTANCE SIGNAL/DATA TRANSFER

<p>An alternative means for connecting two semiconductor devices in an electronic/ electrical system is provided for transferring the signal/data between the semiconductor devices/ICs. In one embodiment, a wireless transceiver operating to transfer signal on a predetermined channel is implemented on integrated circuits/semiconductor devices. Wireless transceivers are identified as wireless nodes. Further, the wireless nodes are dynamically connected to the desired circuit nodes in the micro circuit using a programmable switch array. A wireless as alternative implementation for a BUS interface is provided. The data on the BUS are encoded and transmitted. The data is received on the destination IC and provided on the corresponding multiple nodes. A Hybrid implementation with a optical fiber based data transfer for high bandwidth BUS implementation is also provided.</p>
