ACCUMULATOR GAS PRESSURE DROP DETECTING METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accumulator gas pressure drop detecting method and device for detecting the abnormal drop of gas pressure in an accumulator without increasing the number of pressure sensors.

SOLUTION: The gas pressure drop detecting method for an accumulator 8 is provided for detecting the abnormal drop of gas pressure in the accumulator 8 which accumulates pressure depending on pressure oil discharged from a hydraulic pump 2. It includes counting a charging time ts from starting the drive of the hydraulic pump 2 up to the event that the pressure of the pressure oil supplied to the accumulator 8 reaches specified pressure A equivalent to normal gas pressure, determining the charging time ts compared with a preset time ta as an elapsed time estimated from starting the drive of the hydraulic pump 2 to reaching the specified pressure A when gas pressure in the accumulator 8 is kept normal, and considering that the gas pressure in the accumulator 8 abnormally drops when the charging time ts is determined to be longer than the preset time ta.
