PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-pressed member and a manufacturing method of the same, wherein the excellent corrosion resistance is secured even with the low plating deposition, and the productivity is improved. SOLUTION: The hot-pressed member has a coating layer containing at least two kinds of intermetallic compounds to be selected among the group consisting of FeAl<SB>2</SB>, Fe<SB>2</SB>Al<SB>5</SB>, FeAl<SB>3</SB>, FeAl and Al solid-solutionα-Fe on its surface. The coating layer has a single-layered structure in which areas with the Al concentration being equal to or less than the predetermined value are distributed in an area with the Al concentration exceeding the predetermined value.
