PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and impressively lay out picked-up image data at each arrangement position of decoration image data. SOLUTION: A CPU 200 selects a plurality of picked-up image data GD to be attached to decoration image data FD, analyzes the selected picked-up image data, and evaluates the image quality of the picked-up image data GD. The CPU 200 acquires the number of arrangement positions contained in the acquired decoration image data FD and the priority of each arrangement position. According to the acquired priority and the evaluation of the picked-up image data GD, the CPU 200 assigns each picked-up image data GD to each arrangement position of the decoration image data FD. The CPU 200 executes image quality adjustment processing on the picked-up image data FD to which an arrangement position has been assigned and attaches the picked-up image data GD to the decoration image data FD according to layout control information, thereby generating image data for output.
