ASSISTANT DEVICE FOR SHIITAKE-CULTIVATION BORING DRILL

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assistant device for a shiitake-cultivation boring drill which is mounted on a drill boring a log inoculated with shiitake fungi for shiitake cultivation, and extends the life span of a gimlet boring a hole in the log. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The assistant device for a shiitake-cultivation boring drill has the following structure: the base end side of a gimlet 6 is fixed to the drill chuck 4 of a drill 2; a stopper 8 inhibiting the gimlet 6 from thrusting into the log in a prescribed depth or more is mounted in the vicinity of the drill chuck 4; and a coil spring 18 is set up to the device within a prescribed distance while enclosing the periphery of the gimlet 6 toward the tip end side of the gimlet 6 from the stopper 8.
