<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating state inspection device for cooling fan, capable of inspecting inverse installation and false wiring of the cooling fan surely, even in a minute air flow. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The operation state inspecting device for cooling fan 11 includes a wind tunnel 2, whose one end plane is abutted against a product case so as to surround the periphery of a blast aperture 1a formed on the product case 1 so as to opposite to the cooling fan; a metal foil 22 hung in a gravity direction in the wind tunnel and fixed at one end; and a first non-contacting sensor 23 provided facing the metal foil so as to detect the state of the metal foil 22.
