摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device in which there is no possibility that a cleavage portion of gas discharge and a conductive plate come into contact with each other after pressure in a battery is reduced by performing interruption of current and discharge of gas due to the occurrence of abnormality in the battery, and which is compact and easily manufactured. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the safety device constituted of a safety valve 20, an insulator 30 and a conductive plate 40, the safety valve 20 is formed in a dish shape having a flange surface 21 in the outer periphery, a dish-shaped bottom surface 22 includes; a projection 23 projecting to the center thereof in the power supply element direction; a groove part 25 opened to the periphery by a predetermined pressure; and a linear groove part 26, and is swollen from an outer peripheral end part 28 of the dish-shaped bottom surface 22 to an opening end part 29 of the projection 23 in the power supply element direction. A center hole 31 is provided in the central part of the dish-shaped insulator 30, the safety valve 20 is fitted into the dish shape of the insulator 30, the projection 23 passes through the center hole 31 of the insulator 30 and is electrically conductively connected to the conductive plate 40.
