The method involves providing spinning stations with a spinning spindle (30) and a thread guide (20) with a hopper motor (202) and a spindle motor (302). Measurement for a load of the hopper motor and the spindle motor in the spinning stations is determined continuously so that information about a condition of the spinning stations are provided. A hopper motor controller (206) of the hopper motor and the spindle motor is influenced when detecting load change such that spinning conditions or conditions are maintained within tolerances. An independent claim is also included for a spinning machine comprising spinning stations.
