PURPOSE: A long distance ultrasound examination using a portable scanner is provided to take a ultrasound examination without visiting a hospital by displaying ultrasound image signal through a portable scanner or a personal computer. CONSTITUTION: A client prepares a portable scanner(110) in a personal computer or a set top box of IPTV. The portable scanner examines the ultrasound image/sound signal data through the portable scanner. The image/sound signal data is transmitted to a server for long distance medical examination(210). The transmitted data is stored in a customer database(220). A doctor examines the patient using the stored data. The medical examination data are transmitted to the customer database. |
