<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic reaction capable of obtaining the aimed cyanoenone or its intermediate more efficiently. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing a siloxyarene is provided, comprising reacting a trialkyl silylcyanide on an ynone compound in the presence of a nickel-1,5-cyclooctadiene complex [Ni(COD)<SB>2</SB>]. A β-cyanoenone and an α-bromo-β-cyanoenone obtained by this method, which are convertible to amino alcohol, hydroxycarboxylic acid, etc., have two or more functional groups; therefore the method is industrially useful as a method for developing and producing pharmaceuticals/agrochemicals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
