<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory system and its control method in which load operation for a buffer memory is executed simply and quickly in a memory system performing load operation of data from a nonvolatile memory with a smaller unit than a normal read-out unit. <P>SOLUTION: This system is provided with a nonvolatile memory, a buffer memory arranged between the nonvolatile memory and an external terminal and storing storage capacity of first data quantity transferred by one time red-out or/and write-in operation for the outside, and storage capacity of second data quantity being smaller than the first data quantity, and also the system is provided with a verification memory for storing an expected value when program operation is performed from the buffer memory to the nonvolatile memory, and when data load operation is performed from the nonvolatile memory to the buffer memory and when the prescribed storage capacity being second data quantity in the nonvolatile memory of its integral multiple and being smaller than the first data quantity is an erasure state, the verification memory is reset, content of the verification memory is transferred to storage capacity corresponding to the buffer memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
