PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can prevent that a finger is pinched at a gap formed between a case and a base member, when a user rotates the case in a cross direction. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal television (display) device 100 includes a cabinet 1 in which a display section 2 is provided, and a base member 3. The cabinet 1 and one of the base member 3 include a rib section 13b, and the cabinet 1 and the other one of the base member 3 include a concave section 31 so that the rib section 13b may fit in. The cabinet 1 is rotatable in a cross direction from the base member 3 with a rotation center C as a center, which is provided at a higher position than a bottom section 1c of the cabinet 1. The rib section 13b and the concave section 31 are so formed as to block up a horizontal gap formed between the cabinet 1 and the base member 3 within a cross direction rotational range of the cabinet 1.
