The support (30) has fixation units (31) e.g. rivets, for fixing the support on a body part (20), where the support is made of metal sheet. A maintenance end (32) clips an edge (12) of a covering element (10) between the end and the body part when the support is fixed on the body part. A fixation zone (34) receives a fixation clip (18) e.g. plasti-rivets(RTM: plastic cable fastener), that fixes a fixation part (16) of the element. The end has a curved section along a direction opposite to a surface (36) of the support to be partially supported against the body part. The support is made of metal sheet. An independent claim is also included for a covering element comprising an edge.
