The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method of discriminating an object using multiple different semiconductor gas sensors. The apparatus for discriminating an object comprises: multiple different semiconductor gas sensors; a gas inlet part which allows the gas of an object to flow into the different semiconductor gas sensors; a sensing part which measures an output voltage value in accordance with a time in the different semiconductor gas sensors; and a control part which calculates a peak value in each different semiconductor gas sensor using the output voltage value in accordance with the time measured in the sensing part, discriminating a feature information of the object through the calculated peak value.
