<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase operability by enabling a user to easily identify menus being selected. <P>SOLUTION: When a desired icon is selected from icons displayed at a display part as a list, the selected icon is extended to a prescribed size by a control part. Also, the icon whose selection has been designated, and whose extension processing to the prescribed size has performed is reduced so as to be equal in size to any icon whose selection has not been designated. That is, the extension processing of the newly selected icon is executed, and the reduction processing of the ion which has been selected until that time is executed.
