FIELD: motor industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to design (1) of case for protection of a steering wheel (2) and steering column (3) against dust and foreign particles. Device comprises the right part (4) of case, the left part (5) of case, lower part (6) of case, arranged under steering wheel, upper corrugated jacket (8) and lower corrugated jacket (7). The right part (4) of case surrounds the right half of upper body part (9), comprising steering column (3), comprising through hole (10) and tray (11) for passage of alarm switches and lighting and for fixation of ignition lock. The left part (5) of jacket surrounds the left half of upper body part (9), comprising the steering column (3), comprising through hole (10) for passage of alarm switches and lighting. Lower part (6) of case surrounds lower part of body (9), comprising steering column (3). Upper corrugated jacket (8) is located between the right and left parts (4 and 5) of case and lower part (6) of case and prevents creation of gap around column (3) along its whole length and stretches as angle of steering system inclination is controlled. Lower corrugated jacket (7) is located neat lower end of shaft (2) and prevents, through stretching, creation of gap as steering system is controlled along its height. ^ EFFECT: invention provides for protection against dust and foreign particles in steering wheel (2) and column (3), height and angle of inclination in which may be adjusted, in passenger cars or heavy trucks. ^ 6 cl, 7 dwg |
