PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens-interchangeable camera system having improved accuracy of an autofocus operation in a contrast method during taking a moving image. SOLUTION: A body control means 140 transmits a generated timing signal to an interchangeable lens 200 and transmits a drive information signal to a lens controller 240. A lens control means 240 controls a focus motor 233 on the basis of the drive information signal and timing signal received from the body control means 140.
